My cousin's sweet boy is officially one year old! It is so crazy how quickly babies grow and turn into toddlers! Ek! If you missed a few photos from his birthday party you can see them here. We did not have much time to plan out this photo shot because it was a bit impromptu but my cousin, Brittany, her daughter Kylie and Jaxon came over one afternoon and we just went for it around my backyard. I am so thankful Josh and I had spent a few hours doing yard work the previous weekend so it wasn't a complete wild mess like it has been most of Olive's life. (Yard works goes by the way side when you have a newborn. haha) I am so thankful the light was pretty calm for shooting at noon!
I do wish we had more time to plan and that it was when Josh could be home to entertain Olive because she wasn't digging being in her little jumper thing so I had to baby wear her. Yes, I officially hit that mom status. ;) Haha. I don't ever recommend it because you cannot get on your belly or really low to get eye to eye with these cuties. But we made it work, thankfully!
Jaxon did super great for the first 20 minutes but had a slow melt down towards the end. But I am thankful we got some cutie shots of him and especially some with his sister and mommy. :D
These babies in our family with goregous eyes! Just melt my heart!
Thanks Foo (aka as Brittany...its a long story), for letting me capture your sweet little bean! Also, thank you Kylie for being my assistant. ;)
Its so amazing how quickly babies change in a year, I had the honor of photographing Jaxon's newborn photos too, which you can go check out here.
Now, I know why most families only want to shoot for 30 minutes, because kids can really only last that long being poked and posed and told to sit in one place.
I do have to admit I am growing more and more found of taking baby photos! ;) So...if you have a cutie pie that needs some photos go and fill out my session interest form here.
