It is so crazy Olive is half a year old. It feels likes she has been with us so much longer yet not that long at the same time. I cannot believe our little bean is already crawling, granted its a few movements at a time, but it'll be just a few days if not only a week before she is fully committed to those hands and knees! I am so excited for her dry tummy to get a break from her current way of getting around: arm crawling. We haven't started solids yet, so fun stories about that will definitely come soon. She still is in love with her puppy and adores her daddy. She just lights up when both of them are in the room. She is still super giggly and sweet, but is definitely starting to get that I'm not getting my way cry...here we go disciplining...I am not ready.
I am so thankful that she has become such a happy baby over the past few months and can happily play by herself for 20-30 minutes. Granted I have to move her from getting into everything every five minutes but I can still get some work done in between. She still has her melt downs, mostly when she is tired or misses me, or just wants to cuddle for a nap, but overall she is such a sweet girl.
Although the night before this shoot was a rare awful night of sleep for her so we were a bit crabby for the shoot, so not as smiley as her last but it was so fun to have Josh home for these photos.
Yes we did this photo because, its a must have...and I wish I wore heals more but I truly wear flats a lot.
In thinking of fun ideas for her shoot we decided it would be fun and silly to put her in one of my scarfs, fitting for fall. This was an out take but I love Josh's smile. ;)
And of course we hand to take a few of these....but the sun was in her eyes and we were fading fast. I love you sweet pea!
