This April Josh and I will be introducing Olive Mae to the world! We are so excited (and extremely nervous) to be parents. It has been an adventurous journey growing Olive, but one filled with much joy. We are so blessed to be able to conceive life together and cannot wait to meet our little girl!
As you can tell from the picture above pregnancy isn't always perfect. This little girl doesn't always make the perfectly "round" tummy shape but is extremely active, which results in my laughter at her wondering what she is doing inside and sometimes in my exclamations of pain because she is soccer punching something. Oh little girl, I wonder what you will be like. haha
I have to be honest, I was a bit hesitate at taking these photos because I am very self conscious of my pregnant self. But honestly, what woman loves expanding everywhere? ;) I do have to say I may not attempt this again with other babies because it took WAY more work to get the shot set up, and get into the right position in time. There was one shot I wanted to get but couldn't quite do it. Luckily Josh walked in the front door to take this for me, but then Toby, our dog, decided he had to be in the picture too. Which is a lot for him, he normally cannot jump on our bed, so he was very determined to be apart of this.
Due to Olive coming so soon I will be taking maternity leave, not booking any more for February through the end of May. But, I will be available for client meetings, emails and processing orders. But keep in mind if I strangely take 2 weeks to respond to an email (compared to my normal 24 hour response time) its because Olive was probably born and our world has been turned completely upside down.
I am still booking for the rest of 2014 (after June) and into 2015 for weddings and sessions. I am just taking a little break to prepare and spend time getting to know our little girl. You'll still see tons of things up here on my blog, so keep checking back for some fun things again!
