Sunday late afternoon my cousin's, aunt and I threw my sister her third bridal shower. We decided that since she had two other showers that probably were pretty normal shower's we'd make this one a little more intimate and family based, since everyone who came was family. Instead of the typical shower gifts where you pick something from the couples registry we designated baskets for suggested presents. This way Molly, my sister, and her fiance, Brant could get some things they may not get as a wedding gift but need in moving into a new home together. My aunt hosted the event in her gorgeous back yard which my uncle Dan labored the whole weekend making it looking good come Sunday! I sadly didn't get any people shots because I was making fondue and well it needs a lot of attention...but I did get some fun shots of the decor...so if anything I hope you can get ideas for throwing a bridal shower!
Oh and I also made underwear/bra/tong cookies, cause they are just cute and fitting...:)...um no pun intended there...haha
So the first basket we had was called "Date Night", so everyone got them things for dates. They love movies, so a popcorn bowl and candy were a must.
The next basket was a kitchen basket where everyone could include the non-perishable items for their favorite recipe, which they of course shared with Molly.
Next we had a clean house basket, because well you never put cleaning products on your registry and they are so expensive once you get everything you need.
Last but not least, we had a "Late Night" basket, and well you get the picture. ;)
All the baskets together!
My mom and aunt made these sails for our cruise themed shower.
